ITINERARY

Day 1: Fly into New York City

Fly into Newark, NJ today in the evening on your own and transfer to our hotel in Jersey City, NJ. Everyone will fly in from around the country to congregate and have a group meal near the hotel. Ask all of your last minute questions as we begin a great week in the city that never sleeps!

Day 2: 9/11 Museum & Memorial
*Lunch Included
We start our day in New York City—the largest city in the United States and center of the world (according to New Yorkers at least)! We’ll go to the 9/11 Museum and Memorial to start the day; then for lunch, we chow down on sky-high sandwiches at an authentic NYC deli in the Financial District. Meet up with our guide, Matthew Cummings, a local expert on everything New York City. He will show us give us a good overview of NYC afternoon and will be with us later on in the trip as well.

Day 3: Statue of Liberty
This morning begins with a cruise out to the Statue of Liberty and then to Ellis Island; learn about the history of those immigrants that made the journey to America to start a new life. After lunch we’ll take a short walking tour around Central Park and Strawberry Fields the park dedicated to John Lennon. Finish the day with some free time and dinner in Manhattan.

Day 4: Broadway Show

Today we cruise around the island of Manhattan, which gives us spectacular views of the skyline, all of the connecting bridges, and much more. Following our narrated cruise, we pause for lunch at a local eatery then continue to our first Broadway Musical! After some free time have an included dinner to finish up a fantastic day!

Day 5: Freedom Tower and Museum
Begin the day by going to the top of the Freedom Tower for one of the best views of New York City. After some sight seeing in the area with our local guide enjoy lunch at a historic New York Deli before making our way to the United Nations for a guided tour. Enjoy free time this afternoon and dinner on your own near our hotel.

Day 6: Broadway Show and Farewell Meal
*Breakfast and Dinner Included
Begin the morning with an included breakfast buffet then it’s off to the Metropolitan Art Museum. After some culture and some sightseeing in the area we’ll make our way to our second Broadway show, this afternoon. Once we’ve finished up our show we’ll make our way to the Chelsea Piers area for some casual shopping and relaxation before included farewell dinner! It’s our last night in NYC make it count!

Day 7: Traveling Home

Enjoy breakfast today and prepare to fly out in the afternoon. Sightseeing will be dependent upon when you fly home. It’s been a fantastic week in New York City and hope that you have experienced the city to its fullest!
