Day 1: Fly Into Denver

Arrive in the Mile High City and meet your Tour Director at baggage claim. Get acquainted with the city and transfer to your hotel to enjoy a warm welcome dinner with fellow travelers and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Ride the California Zephyr to Moab

Board the legendary California Zephyr Amtrak Train, one of the most scenic train routes in North America. Watch the landscapes transform as you ride across the Colorado Rockies and into the red rock country of Utah. Disembark in Grand Junction and transfer by motorcoach to Moab.

Day 3: Arches National Park & Colorado River Scenic Cruise

Marvel at over 2,000 natural sandstone arches during a guided morning tour of Arches National Park. Enjoy free time for lunch in charming downtown Moab. In the evening, embark on a peaceful boat cruise along the Colorado River, watching the canyon walls glow at sunset.

Day 4: Canyonlands & Capitol Reef National Parks

Start your day exploring Canyonlands National Park’s Island in the Sky, with panoramic views over the dramatic Colorado Plateau. Then enjoy a scenic drive and included lunch in Green River, before continuing to Capitol Reef National Park, known for its colorful cliffs and historic orchards.

Day 5: Bryce Canyon National Park

Travel along the jaw-dropping Scenic Highway 12 and across the Hogback in Grand Staircase-Escalante. Have lunch in Bryce City, then head into the iconic Bryce Canyon National Park to marvel at its whimsical hoodoos and spires. End your day in the Western town of Kanab.

Day 6: Zion National Park

Venture through tribal lands and Springdale into the heart of Zion National Park. Board a guided tram for a breathtaking ride through Zion Canyon to the Temple of Sinawava. Enjoy free time at the historic Zion Lodge and stroll or hike amidst stunning cliffs and lush landscapes.

Day 7: Lake Powell

Today, head to Lake Powell for a boat tour through the deep blue waters and red rock walls (tour dependent on water levels). After lunch by the marina, continue south to the famous Cameron Trading Post, known for authentic Native American crafts. Arrive in the cool pines of Flagstaff, Arizona.

Day 8: Grand Canyon National Park by Historic Train

Start the day in Williams, AZ and board a vintage railcar to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Soak in sweeping views from the El Tovar Hotel viewpoint, then explore the rim at your leisure. Stop at the awe-inspiring Desert View Watchtower before returning to Flagstaff.
