ITINERARY

Day 1: Departure
Arrive to Salt Lake City, Utah from your local departure location. Meet up with your travel group and get quickly acquainted with the city. Finish the day with a group social hour.

Day 2: Traveling South

Wake up to breakfast and a performance by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in downtown Salt Lake City. We will then begin our journey to some of the most beautiful landscapes in southern Utah. Finish the evening in Moab where we will stay for the next 2 evenings.

Day 3: Arches National Park

Travel only a few miles north of Moab and arrive to the national park that contains over 2,000 natural sandstone arches. Enjoy a guided tour by a local naturalist of Arches National Park, then we’ll make our way to the beautiful Dead Horse Point National Park. This overlook views Canyonlands National Park and the Colorado River. Don’t forget your sunscreen and sunglasses today, as the region only gets an average of 10 inches of rain annually.

Day 4: Monument Valley

Depart Moab by traveling south into Arizona. Stop by many natural wonders throughout the day, ranging from Newspaper Rock to Gooseneck State Park. Overlook sandstone buttes that reach 1,000 feet tall in some places. After lunch, take in views of the San Juan River and make a stop at Monument Valley Visitors Center to finish the day.

Day 5: Grand Canyon

The highlight of the trip arrives today as we explore the Southern Rim of the Grand Canyon. The canyon is over 227 miles long, 1 mile deep in areas and up to 18 miles wide; this is all thanks to the Colorado River. Experts estimate the Colorado has been carving out this massive natural wonder for the last 17 million years. Don’t forget your camera and enjoy this incredible area. Spend the next 2 nights near Page, Arizona.

Day 6: Lake Powell and Navajo Culture

Begin the day by stopping by The Powell Museum in downtown Page. Next, we’ll take a scenic cruise that brings us through Antelope Canyon on Lake Powell. This reservoir straddles Arizona and Utah and is a major vacation spot for millions annually. Finish up at the Navajo Village Cultural Center; we’ll learn about the Navajo tribe’s traditional teachings and culture as we tour an authentic recreation of a historic Navajo Village.

Day 7: Zion Canyon
Explore the million year old eroded Zion Canyon today, one of the most beautiful examples of cliff and canyon landscapes in southern Utah. Travel the park by tram while learning about its million-year-old geological history. Stay the next two evenings in the Bryce Canyon area.

Day 8: Bryce Canyon National Park

Arrive to Bryce Canyon to view the oddly shaped hoodoos. Frost weathering creates these geological features, and we will have perfect views of these red and orange rocks as we make frequent stops along our route. Finish the day with an included dinner and social hour!

Day 9: Salt Lake City

Travel north to the origin of our trip today as we arrive into Salt Lake City for a tour of Temple Square. Have a farewell dinner tonight, share photos and enjoy the new friends you’ve made throughout this vacation, as tomorrow is our final day.

Day 10: Flying Home
